Ebooks Midnight
Do you think ebooks are destoying reading?
I have tried reading things online “midnight sun” being a terrible but try example and they just dont hold my interrest as well as a “real” book. The paper the feeling. Being in bed with a good book into the wee small hours of the morning, lying in the sun with a book, carrying it in a bag to read at every possible moment, lined up on a bookshelf reminding you every time you see it of the amazing characters and the jorney you went on as you read the book.
I just dont think its the same on computers or on little palm held thingys like the one produced by amazon. Thoughts?
I’m an Amazon Kindle 2 owner. I’ve to say that I like reading a lot, and at the beginning I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books when I read on the Kindle. But now I love to hold the Kindle, I think it is a matter of habbit…
Indeed, the e-ink of the Kindle 2 works very well, it really like reading books… Now I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I don’t feel tired.
I worried about the change of my reading habbit at that time, but I remember I read this review from another actual owner of the Kindle 2, then I decided to buy it:
