Beer Making
What is the best Beer making Starter kit?
I would like to get my fiance a Beer making Starter kit for his b-day. Anyone have any suggestions on which ones are good? I am looking to spend between $100-$150. He like’s IPA’s so I want one that will make a good hoppy beer.

Find a local home brewing & wine supply store near you. There is no good reason to pay for shipping when you can get it locally. The kit You Need must include not only the ingredients to brew an IPA, this is easy to get, but also caps, a capper, hoses, and fermentation tubs. You can get the fermentation tubs in plastic but a glass carboy is much better.
You may also do him well by also getting a book on brewing. Many web sites are easily found on brewing by just searching that term. In any case, go easy on the $$ for the first kit just in the event he is not hooked on the idea. You/he can always add to it later expanding his home brewery. Good beer and good times, have fun.
