To recap: Rostam from Vampire Weekend and Wes from Ra Ra Riot joined laptops and R&B predilections, invited their buddies Ezra and Angel for a couple of tracks, and turned out a really fun summer LP. We happen to love summer, fun, and LPs. We also love free alcohol and partying on school nights, so we’re glad to help this happen: Join us, along with the Discovery dudes, at Le Poisson Rouge in the Village next Tuesday (6/30) for the LP listening party. If you’re still getting familiar, try the two MP3s here, or the song with Ezra … or just come out to LPR to hear the whole thing. Rihanna is set to testify against Chris Brown today. Rihanna will take the stand in Los Angeles and ultimately her words will guide the judge, jury and Chris Brown’s lawyer into deciding his fate.

Megan Fox says She”owes her career” to ‘Transformers’. Obviously Fox will be reprising her role as Mikaela Bannes in the third film of the Transformers. And if there’s going to be a fourth one and so forth, chances are we can count Megan in. Let’s hope so anyway.

The Tonight Show’s Triumph The Insult Comic Dog was everywhere at Bonnaroo ‘09 — backstage, onstage, Tent City, the Discotheque Arcade, Scratch DJ Academy. We saw the puppet hound duet with animal rights activist Neko Case (”Do any of those dogs that you rescue get to watch you shower?”) on Sunday and Bruce Springsteen the night before. But the most hilarious stuff happened behind the scenes, with Robert Smigel laying his Borscht Belt shtick on TV On The Radio, Beastie Boys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and other festival acts. The zings bite even though we’ve heard many before, but I’ll only spoil one… Triumph to TVOTR: “Please describe your music, and keep in mind that ‘crap’ is already taken by the Decemberists.” After the jump, the ‘Roo segments that aired on Conan last night and a bunch of footage that didn’t.

Lindsay Lohan and Ryan Seacrest are working on a television project together. Lindsay and Ryan met up Thursday night in Hollywood and didn’t part ways until 6 a.m. While one would assume the two were doing what Lindsay and Hollywood do best, rumors (and a LiLo tweet) suggest they were actually working.

Angelina Jolie wishes she’s been a humanitarian as a teenager. As we all remember, Angelina was fairly wild, what she calls “self destructive” when she was younger. Now she has swapped relief work and adoption for lesbian affairs, knives and blood viles.

They also offered up “Illgresi” and an extremely gorgeous “Fljotavik,” but the two Me su eyrum vi spilum endalaust tracks with longer titles are more lively fare for a Friday afternoon. Yes, you’ve likely already seen “Inn mr syngur vitleysingur” live before, but not with the four guys alone in a room. (Plus, as we’ve already made clear on this site, these guys are a a good live band — and the double piano playing’s compelling to watch up close.) And it’s good to see “Vi Spilum Endalaust” in crisper, less pixelated form … even if Spinner has it labeled “Fljotavik” by mistake.
