Susan Boyle loses Britain’s Got Talent. Boyle,the Scottish singing sensation came second place after losing out on today’s finale to the British dance troupe Diversity. (They won the $160,000 prize and will perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.)(Susan Boyle’s video below)

Jay Leno has officially stepped down as Tonight Show host, with last night being his talk show host swan song. Jay Leno held the post for 17 years, and is officially passing the torch to Conan O’Brien, who paid his dues in the later spot for the past 16 years. Jay will resume his snarking with a new hour-long show in the 10 p.m. spot on NBC.

Spencer Pratt is a huge pot head — even so much that friends began to call him the King Of Weed. Spencer reportedly spent some time in rehab for pill addiction (wow), Pratt was a huge fan of Valium and Xanax and sought professional help. He started smoking pot at the age of 15, and “fell in love” as a friend says, and still smokes on a daily basis.

Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez are definitely together. While the gossip rags have been blabbing for eons now that Kate had gone all Angelina and stolen Alex from Madonna (where Madge went and picked up a Jesus in response) it appears the two are absolutely at least sharing a bed. Kate has been “following” Alex around and spent the night with him in Texas.
